Aussie LNG stocks to watch.

Planned export of Australian LNG may trigger trading opportunities for those stocks within this sector. I have been advised that LNG exports from Queensland are scheduled to increase towards the end of the year and it was suggested that local gas prices might increase significantly to keep pace with prices that will be obtained for the export LNG. Thus, I thought I would check up on those stocks that might benefit from this changing landscape. It is interesting to note that a number of these stocks are setting up in triangle patterns with obvious potential for bullish breakout.

This article helped me to identify a few extra ticker symbols to check up on and I have posted charts of these below. Traders need to carry out their own due diligence if interested in trading or investing in any of these stocks. I am simply posting my observations based on a technical perspective of these stocks:

STO: Santos: trading within a triangle pattern. Watch for any triangle breakout:

WPL: Woodside Petroleum:I have posted this chart before and noted that the triangle breakout has already evolved. The continued hold above the $40 is bullish now though:

BPT: Beach Energy: this is trading within a bullish ascending triangle. Watch for any breakout here as this would suggest continuation. A close and hold above the $1.75 level would be encouraging:
